Henry A. Underwood, 89 of Fredericktown, died Oct. 29, 2002, at his home. He was born Feb. 27, 1913, at Grassy, MO, son of Harley and Lula (Acup) Underwood.
He married Ella Deck July 18, 1936 at Fredericktown; she died in March 1940.
He and Aubrey Aldoris Schwering were married May 12, 1946, at Marble Hill, MO.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry Underwood of Fredericktown, MO; a daughter, Nancy Basden of Fredericktown, MO; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, two brothers, and one great-grandson.
Friends may call at Follis and Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown today. The funeral will be Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Mark Statler will officiate. Burial will be in Glen Allen Cemetery.
