SUGAR CITY - Allen Wiser Hendricks, 87, retired farmer and potato shipper, died April 3, 1988 at his home of causes incident to age.
He was born June 24, 1900 at Marysville to William Dorris and Allie Arminda Wiser Hendricks.
He married Amanda Richards, February 20, 1920 in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. He was a member of the LDS Church.
He served as a Sugar City councilman for 10 years and was a pioneer in the potato shipping business at Sugar City. He lived most of his life in the Upper Snake River Valley except for 10 years in Lewiston, Utah.
Survivors include his wife of Sugar City; a grandson; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, for brothers, and two sisters.
His funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Sugar City LDS Second Ward by Bishop Gerald Jeppson. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
