He had been retired since 1952 from the plumbing business he started here in 1905 and his later association with Turner's hardware. During his first year in Lodi, he worked with Henderson Brothers' hardware. He operated his own business at 41 S. Sacramento st. The date of his retirement there and the length of his association with Turner's could not be determined.
Mr. Krumb was born June 8, 1876 in Oakland. He resided in Grass Valley before coming to Lodi 56 years ago.

Mr. Krumb was also a past president-in 1911 and 1912-of the Lodi Aerie of Eagles, and in his last years had been often honored as the Aerie's oldest member. He joined the Aerie in 1906, and on May 14, 1956, was presented a 50-year membership pin at a dinner in his honor.
Mr. Krumb also earned the gratitude of his Aerie for the important part he played in the program which in 1917 built the Aerie's present hall at Sacramento and Locust sts.
