He was a native of Upland and came to this area in 1931. He was employed by the Gundershaug Electric Company for over 30 years. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
He was a member of American Legion Post No 22, Lodi, and the International Brotherhood Electrical Workers, Local No. 591.
He is survived by his wife, Betty J Hamilton of Lodi; one daughter, Deborah Jane Miller; two sisters, Evelyn Vernou and Virginia Johnson; and two grandsons.
