Billie Crawford, age 87, of Floydada, passed away, Saturday, March 8, 2014 in Lubbock. Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Floyd County Memorial Park in Floydada with her pastor, Jim Brown officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Billie was born March 22, 1926 to Jim and Ada Lee (Mallow) Jones in Floydada. Billie set up the Library at the Dougherty School and worked in the First Baptist Church Library in Floydada and later became librarian at Monterey Baptist Church in Lubbock. She was active in all of her church homes. Billie was a master quilter and devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by one son, Jim Crawford and wife Sandra of Floydada, one daughter, Jacque James and husband Jody of Floydada, grandsons, Jonathan James and wife Cara of Floydada and Jacob James and wife Shannel of Lubbock, great grandsons, Yager James, Jax James, Hudson James and Grayson James.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Crawford and four siblings.
