Native Arkansan buried here Saturday. Irvin Cathey Died In Exeter Hospital; Was 52 Years of Age
Funeral services were held yesterday-morning for Irvin Cathey who died at the Exeter hospital Friday night. Mr. Cathey, a farm worker, was 52 years of age, and a native of Arkansas. Services were held yesterday in the Webb chapel with the Rev. Louis Hatfield of the Mission Baptist church of Tulare, officiating.
Burial was in Olive cemetery.
Mr. Cathey is survived by his wife, Vada, of Lindsay; two sons, J. H. Cathey of Yuba City and J, L. Cathey of Lindsay; and one daughter, Mrs. Inez Bowen of Rover, Ark. He also leaves two brothers, Lawrence Cathey of Lindsay and Sandlin Cathey of Modesto, as well as; two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Rabjohn of Bluffton, Ark. and Mrs. Jessie Anderson of Rover, Ark. and his mother, Mrs. R.
