Alice Wells, 94, of Gurdon, widow of Sam Wells, died Friday, May 11, 1984. She was a Baptist.
Survivors are a son, Elmo Wells of Mojave, CA; two daughters, Zula Carlile of Arvin, CA, and Vivian Barker of Lawrence, MI; 19 grandchildren; and 56 great grandchildren; and 16b great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 14, 1984, at Horne Funeral Home in Gurdon, AR. Burial was in the South Fork Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Alfred Smith, Arlie Craig, Jessie Roberts, Lockie Golden, Jim Wells, and Sherrell Jester.
