Yvette was born December 24, 1955, to George and Bettie Page. She was the oldest of four children born to this union.

Yvette was born and raised in Detroit. She began her early education at Tappan Elementary, later graduating from Cody High School in 1974. Continuing her education at Schoolcraft College. she successfully earned her Associate's degree in Elementary Education and later obtaining a bachelor's degree from Grand Canyon University in 2013.

In God's divine order, Yvette met and fell in love with the love of her life, David 0. Collier in 1974. They were joined together in holy matrimony on May 15, 1976.

As a young couple beginning life together, Yvette soon after accepted the Lord Jesus Christ. being baptized in Jesus name receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost in April 1978. Greater Grace Temple is where her church membership resided. She faithfully with Joy, served under the Missionary and Intercessory Department. Recognizing the change in his wife, David quickly followed his wife's lead by giving his life to the Lord and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost in July 1978. To their union, they celebrated the birth of their first child, David Orestes 11 born January 15, 1980. They welcomed their second child, Stephanie Rae'chelle on March 28. 1985.

Yvette was blessed with gifted hands, her talents allowed her to sew various garments with great skill. She was passionate about baking and decorating wedding cakes, her motto being, "How Sweet It Is.'' She also had a great love for cooking and preparing meals. She excelled as an executive assistant to the regional vice president of Wendy's international. She displayed exceptional clerical and administrative skills. which made her a valuable asset to the company.

Yvette was a very strong and courageous woman of God. Through years of her battling sickness and immense pain she remained faithful to Christ and her family. To know her was to love her and the heartfelt effect of her leaving will forever sadden the hearts of many. Her testimony is that she pleased God and Inspired others leaving behind a faith- filled legacy.

Yvette Renea Collier made her transition to be with the Lord on Monday. March 3, 2014. She leaves to cherish in her memory: her beloved husband, David; her loving children, David 11 (Stephanie), and Stephanie (Marcus); three brothers, George (Nora) David, and Donald; three aunts, Cora of Winston Salem, Evelma of Denver, and Janie of New Jersey; two uncles, Tommy of Detroit, and Irving of Denver; four nieces; two nephews and godchildren, Taja (Micah) Toyce, LaTia, Amari and Viktori; two best friends Ramona and Angle, a host of cousins, close friends, and loving church family.

Yvette was preceded In death by her mother, Bettie Page; father, George Page; and grandparents.Eula and Willie Crawford.
