"Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Trinity Baptist Church in Petal for Mr. William L. Minter, Sr., 85, of Petal.
He died Friday, March 7, 2014 at his residence.
Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Gardens with Military Honors performed by the VFW Post 3036 honor guard.
Mr. Minter was a retired house painter and contractor. He was charter member and Deacon of Trinity Baptist Church and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Creel Minter, nine brothers and one sister.
He is survived by two sons, William Lloyd Minter, Jr. (Rhonda) of Beaumont, TX and Steven J. Minter (Melia) of Petal; six daughters, Jean Sanford (Rodney) of Sunrise Comm, Robbie Patterson (Michael) of Coppell, TX, Gail Mitchell (Kenny) of Petal, Stephanie Harvison (Jimmy) of Dixie Comm., and Kimberly Lowery (Chris) of Sumrall; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandchild.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Sunday at Trinity Baptist Church."
