Caroline was employed as a teacher's assistant in the Erie School District for almost 25 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church. Caroline enjoyed watching T.V., reading, solving seek and find puzzles, and was also a good cook. She loved her family and animals, especially her late pet dog, "Buster."
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Armand Spano in 1998 and her son, Samuel Spano in 1979.
Survivors include two daughters: Irene Seely and Theresa Spano-Hunt (Jim); four sisters: Barb Smith, Mona Hughes (Arthur), Elaine Felton (Clarence "Cookie") and Carolyn Rhoades (Emmett) and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum.
