Mrs. Celia Alford, 59, near Hookstown, Pa., died today at 1:15 a.m., in the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.N. Dean, 249 Louisiana avenue, Chester.
Mrs. Alford, born in Junior, W. Va., a daughter of Granville and Mary Brady, lived in Hancock county 12 years.
Besides her husband, she leaves another daughter, Mrs. W.A. Husted of East Liverpool; eight sons. W.G. Cox of East Liverpool; Earl C. Cox of Newell; Murrel T. Alford of Chester; Francis J. Alford of New Cumberland; Everett C. Alford, Lonnie A. Alford, Allan A. Alford and Harry M. Alford, at home; five brothers, and O.D. and F.G. Brady of Junior, W. Va.. W.P. Brady of Heater, W. Va., G.H. Brady and Charles Brady and three sisters. Mrs. T.F. Valentine of Belington, W Va.; Mrs. J.S. DeSau of Beach Creek, Pa., and Mrs. Maude Harvey of Painesville, O.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Dean home in charge of Rev. J.T. Vorhis. pastor of the Chester United Presbyterian church. Burial will be made Friday at Junior, W. Va."
