Arlene "Boots" Coleman, a native and resident of Baton Rouge passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at OLOL hospital. She was 73.

She is survived by her daughters, Charlene C. Randolph and Myra G. Smith; four grandchildren, Maisha Williams, Rickey Randolph, Jr., Demond Harris and Avughtee Jones; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Coleman; son, Demond Coleman; mother, Emmie Benton; father, Henry Benton Sr.; six sisters, Pearl Spears, Josephine Thomas, Ethel Riley, Elouise Scott, Yvonne Bradford and Emmer Lee Parms; and five brothers, Arthur Riley, Henry Benton, Harry Benton, David Benton and Artrix Benton.

Visiting at Hall Davis & Sons Funeral Home until service, conducted by Rev. Keno Spurlock. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens.
