Robert Louis Henderson Sr., 85, of Dequincy, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Seagoville, Texas on September 27, 1928 to parents Simon and Stella (Gleason) Henderson.
He had lived 35 years in the Dequincy area and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was an industrial painter for many years. He enjoyed going fishing, hunting and gardening. Robert and his wife, Joyce, built the house where they lived and reared their fourteen children. Robert was a loving man who will be missed dearly by all.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, four children and five siblings.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Henderson; and a large family and a large extended family.
