Clayton Dee Haskew, a resident of Belen, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 29, after a long illness. He was born on March 14, 1928, in Arch, N.M., to Clarence Haskew and Ollie Bell McCasland Haskew.

Clayton was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joe Haskew, of Clovis.

He is survived by his six children, Helen "Cookie" Deehl, of Roswell, Nancy Burghart, of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., Clayton Haskew Jr. of Alamogordo, Ollie Bell Sanchez of Belen, Billy Joe Haskew of Belen, and Connie "Penny" Haskew, of Roswell; his grandchildren, Harrison Deehl, Joshua Burghart, April Haskew, Adam Valenzuela, Tamera Sanchez, Victoria Sanchez, Billy Haskew Jr., Casey Haskew, Monique Haskew and Mercedes Haskew; two sisters, Roberta of Oklahoma and Josephine of Texas; and one brother, Bill ofMissouri.

Services were held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel beginning with a visitation on Friday, Dec. 2, followed by a funeral service. Interment took place at Arch Cemetery in Arch, N.M. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen. See online register at www.romerofuneralhomenm.com
