Mrs. Laura Engelstad, 78, 519 Fourth street south, died at the Bemidji hospital.

Mrs. Engelstad was born at Fertile, Minn. She attended school there and later moved to Clearwater county where her schooling was completed. She was married to Lars P. Engelstad in Bagley in 1906 and they moved to Bemidji in 1925 where she had lived since. Mr. Engelstad died in 1947. Mrs. Engelstad was a very active member of Calvary Lutheran church.

Surviving are a son, Marvin; four daughters. (Full obituary in Bemidji Daily Pioneer, Nov. 27, 1964)
