Ada M. HAYES was the fourth of six children of John Beckes HAYES and his wife Sarah A. (Campbell) HAYES. Her name is variously spelled Ada, Aida, or Adah. She married Alden Denis BLAKE 17 Dec 1911 in 'Marion' - could be in either Indiana or Michigan. In the 1920 and 1930 censuses they lived in Detroit, Michigan, where Alden worked as a salesman, and later supervisor, of a refrigerator store. It appears that they never had children.
