Mrs Earle, 89, Greenville, Dies
Greenville, Dec 14 [1955] -- Mrs Martha Jane Hill Earle, 89, died here this morning after a long illness. Mrs Earle was a resident of Greenville for 70 years and a native of Sumter County. She was a member of Buncombe Street Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter in law, Mrs Louise Y Earle of Greenville; a brother, Frank HIll of Brunswick, Georgia; two sisters, Mrs Lacy Hill McKinnon of Brunswick, Georgia, and Mrs T G Herbert of Mt Pleasant, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from Trinity Methodist Church in Sumter at 2:30 pm Thursday by Dr R Bryce Herbert and Dr Lester Kingman. Interment will be in Sumter Cemetery.
