John Richard Barrett, age 57, passed away December 3, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born September 19, 1948 in Soda Springs, Idaho, to Kenneth R. and Thelma Jibson Barrett. Raised in Buhl, Idaho, where he graduated from high school.
He served an LDS mission to Texas. Attended Ricks College and BYU.
He worked for the University of Utah Custodial Department.
He loved to fish and spend time with good friends.
Survived by his sister, Kay (Mike) Duersch; nephew, Matthew (Gretchen) Duersch; niece, Rebecca (John) Williams.
