Joseph Andrew "Joe" Castleberry was born on March 31, 1885 in Cunningham, Tennessee, and was the son of James "Frank" Castleberry (1830-1901) and his wife Matilda (Black) Castleberry (1848-1923).
He was married 1st in 1906 in Montgomery County to Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Harris (ca 1890- ). He was married 2nd perhaps about 1917 to Ollie Martin (1895-1931), the daughter of Jessie M Martin and Maura (Clark) Martin.
A retired blacksmith, Joe was a widower when he passed away on April 2, 1955 in rural Clarksville. Burial was the next day in Lone Oak Cemetery.
