Funeral of Mrs. A. Leo Franklin
The funeral of Mrs. Lelya Jordan Franklin, wife of Dr. A. Leo Franklin, was held this morning at 10 o'clock from the home, 32 Baltimore Avenue, where the Very Rev. Edward J. Wunder, pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, read the office for the dead. He made the commitment at the grave in St. Patrick' s cemetery. The pallbearers were: Rev. Martin Luther Enders, Dr. William L. Burns. Fleming W. Burrows, Frank Lee Carl, Thomas B. Kean and H. T. Mattingly. The relatives who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Edward Jordan and Frank Jordan, Norfolk, Va.; the Messers. Jordan being brothers of Mrs. Franklin and Mrs. Joseph L. Franklin, Westminster, Md., and Mrs. Fernand Bonnette, Baltimore, sisters of Dr. Franklin and Miss Ethel Franklin. Mrs. Bonnette will spend the winter at the Franklin home.
