Ora "Maxine" Jackson, age 92, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Maxine was born on June 8, 1921.

She was a long time member of Robinson Memorial Church of God in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Jackson, sons, Curtis Eugene Jackson, Shamsid-Deen and Milton Jackson; and daughter Johnnie Mae Beasley; 3 grandchildren, parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Ellihue (Alma), Robert (Shelley), Wilbert (Karen), James and Jerome Jackson; daughters, Queen Esther (Ronald) Perteet, Geneva (Rick) Hawthorne, and Dolores (Rick) Smith. Thirty-two grandchildren, sixty-seven great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren; sister, Alma Jean Woods of East St. Louis, Illinois.

Family hour will be held at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Home Going Celebration at 11:30 a.m., Monday, March 10, 2014 at Tabernacle of David Worship Center, 2645 W. Holmes Rd.
