Dawn L. Wagner, 56, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in the Kettering Medical Center.

She was born on September 10, 1955 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Orrin B and Amaleen (Boyd) Wagner.

Dawn became ill at the age of 6, and spent thirty years as a resident of the DayView Care Center in New Carlisle where she had many friends and was an inspiration to all who knew her.

She enjoyed delivering mail to the residents, playing BINGO, and listening to Elvis.

Dawn is survived by her mother, one brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Patti Wagner, and one sister Vickie Auckerman all of Springfield, three aunts and one uncle: Carnie Ehrle of Arizona, Roger and Marlene Wagner, and Margaret Jenkins, numerous cousins, and special friend Julie Young.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 12:00 pm in the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home.

Friend may call from 10-12:00 pm prior to the service.

Burial will be in the Ferncliff Cemetery.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the caregivers of DayView who were also her family. Memorial contributions may be made to the DayView Care Center, 1885 North Dayton-Lakeview Rd., New Carlisle, OH 45344.

Dawn will always be remembered for her love of life and strong spirit.
