WOODSFIELD - Lloyd E. Buckio, 92, of Guilford Avenue died Saturday (June 21, 2003) at the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born Jan. 20, 1911, in Monroe County to Edward A. and Cleo Claus Buckio. He was a retired employee of Pittsburgh Plate Glass at Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a Protestant by faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma E. Mong Buckio, in December 1994.
He is survived by several cousins; and a sister-in-law, Hazel Zaveson and her husband, George, of Henderson, Nev.
Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home at 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, with Minister Sam Bartrug officiating. Burial is in Oaklawn Cemetery in Woodsfield. Friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
