Son of the late Connor Wyatt Hulsey and Ruby Samples Hulsey, he was the widower of Carolyn Evans Hulsey. Additionally, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret McNally; granddaughter, Tina Maddox; grandson, David Tetrault; and by two sisters, Alene Abercrombie and Jean Veal. He was survived by a son, Ronald E. Hulsey (Kaye); daughters, Martha Snally (Ray), Deborah Christie (Jack) and Connie Watjen (Andrew); 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, W. Talmadge Hulsey (Jimmie); sisters, Montree Stphens, Euphenia Stephens and Olene Stevens; and an extended family of relatives and friends. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was owner/operator of Acme Exterminating Company for over 40 years. His attended Lakewood Baptist Church. His funeral was held on March 9, 2014, with The Rev. Joe Hulsey and The Rev. James Elrod officiating.
