Jason Lyne Ellis, 37, of South Point, OH., formerly of Logan, departed this life Thursday., February 27, 2014, at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Born June 16, 1977, in Logan, he was a son of Virginia Ellis and the late Jerry Lyne Ellis.
Jason enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dwayne Ellis.
In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Danielle Ellis, his grandmother, Mary Jane Meade, two daughters, Heidi Ellis and Laurynn Maggard, one son, Chance Thomas Ellis, and two grandchildren, Harlee Maggard and Liam Goldshmit.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Freeman Funeral Home, with Pete Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Duty Cemetery at Harts.
