Victoria Joan Harmon 66, a lifelong resident of Minong, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN surrounded by her family.
Vicki was born April 11, 1947 in Spooner, WI to the late Vernon and Thelma (Vig) Langdon.
Vicki married Dick April 17, 1965 in Crystal Lake, Illinois, they enjoyed 48 wonderful years together.
Vicki was a custodian for the Northwoods School for 24 years. Vicki loved working around the house in her vegetable and flower gardens, and watching the birds. Vicki enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren, her family was very important to her.
Among those survive and gratefully shared her life is her husband Richard of 48 years; five children David Harmon, Shelly (John) Bell, Tim Harmon, Kelly (Dave) Harmon, Tammy Melton; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; one brother Darryl "Shorty" Coons of Duluth, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
Vicki is preceded in death by two sisters Verna Langdon, Phyllis Ross; two brothers Dick and David Coons.
A Celebration of life for Vicki will be held 11:30 a.m., Monday, March 10, 2014 at the River Church in Minong, WI with Pastor Ben Kidder officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. till the time of the service at the church
