Matt was a son of David Lee Williamson and Christine R. South Williamson.
He was a 2005 Honor Graduate of Summerville High School and was scheduled to start College of Charleston in the fall of 2006. He loved to play video games, chat on line with his friends, play base guitar and was a member of the Guitar Club at Summerville. He was employed with Knight's Piping as a Pipe Fitter Helper.
In addition to his parents, Tina and David of Summerville, Matthew is survived by a sister; Sarah Williamson of Summerville, grandparents; Frederick and Rosetta South of Walterboro, Edna Backa of Helena, MT and Bill Williamson of Section, AL, four aunts; Donna South of Walterboro, Debbie South of Atlanta, GA, Pam Fate of Tulsa, OK and Carla Backa; special cousins; Sydney and Jeremy Elledge of Seattle, WA, Abigail Fate of Tulsa, OK and several other cousins.
