A native of Omaha, he was the son of George Boand and Ellen Petersen Boand. He was married to Martha Smith Boand for 43 years. He and his wife were member of North Side Christian Church where they both sang in the choir. Harry graduated from South High School and worked at Mutual of Omaha for 35 years, retiring in 1982. He collected stamps, was an avid reader, enjoyed watching old movies and playing trivia games. He is survived by his son, Cliff (Paula) Boand of Culleoka, TN; daughter Cathy (Clarke) Boand Edson of Henderson, NV; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha; and brother George (Bill) Boand. Graveside services Friday, July 10 at 3 pm at West Lawn Cemetery. The family will visit with friends after the service at JC's Lounge. located at 49th & Q Street.
