Died From His Injuries
Jonas Beal, aged about 63 years, was struck by an engine here yesterday afternoon, death ensuing an hour later at Allegany Hospital. His head was crushed and legs broken. He was employed as a laborer on the B & O Railroad and was working in the vicinity of Oldtown Road. His body was removed from the hospital to Butler undertaking rooms and was prepared for burial. This morning his remains were taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs H Crosby, 325 Maryland Ave. Mr Beal's home was on Lexington St.
