Services for Vera Louise Ferguson, 61, of Nacogdoches, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held in the Sweet Union Cemetery near Wells. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Alto.

Mrs. Ferguson as born March 1, 1948 in Forest and died Sunday, July 26, 2009 in Longview. She worked as a nurse aide in home health.

Survivors: sons, James Ferguson, John Keith Ferguson, Orlando Ferguson; daughters, Nikki Lane, Angela Ferguson; brother, Kenneth Calhoun; sisters, Dorothy Lennox, Jessie Boston, Joyce Ligon, Barbara Coleman; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
