Floyd Hart was born June 10, 1912, in Madison County to Orie Charles and Nina (Drake) Hart. His marriage to Genevieve Kuntz took place Dec. 15, 1934, in Savannah, Mo. A lifetime resident and farmer of Madison County, Floyd was a member of Farm Bureau (60 years) and the Winterset First United Methodist Church. He also was a former board member of the Winterset CO-OP and a charter member of the FFA in high school.
He was preceded in death by his wife and two brothers, George and Ivan Hart.
He is survived by one son, John Hart of Winterset; one daughter, Lois Thompson of Winterset; and seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
