Harold "Sid" Sirdoreus, 84, of Grandview, Missouri, passed away April 8, 2016 at the Kansas City Hospice House with his family by his side.

A visitation will be held April 12 at the McGilley & George Funeral Home (12913 Grandview Rd., Grandview, MO).

A second visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 14 at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset.

A graveside service with military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Winterset Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice House.

Harold was born May 17, 1931 in Dexter, Iowa to Fred and Nora Westerman Sirdoreus. He married the love of his life, Jo Ann Gunter on July 8, 1952. After serving two years in the Army, they moved to Kansas City, Missouri and Harold went to K.C. School of Electronics. He went to work for Bendix Corp. and retired after 37 years.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and eleven siblings.
