Ivy Rosalie Thompson, 97, died Saturday at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Feb. 27, 1893, in Blossom Prairie, TX, and moved to Tulsa in 1945. Mrs. Thompson was a member of St. Pauls Methodist Church for 45 years and a employee of Hillcrest Medical Center for 19 years before retirement.
Survivors include daughters Dolores 'Emy' Willits of Tulsa and Beverly Collins of Drumright; sons C.B. Thompson of California, Hugh Thompson of Texas and Harry Thompson of Pennsylvania; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers were Mrs. Thompson's grandsons Jim Thompson, Larry Willits, Steve Thompson, Jeff Cooper, Steve Collins and Brad Mears.-->
She was preceded in death by daughters Hilda Whatley, Rosalie Cooper and Joann Mears, son Bill Thompson and great-grandson David Collins.
Funeral services were Tuesday at St. Paul's Methodist Church, Tulsa.
Burial was at Woodland Cemetery, Sand Springs, under the direction of Ninde Funeral Home, Tulsa.
