Melanie "Diane" Jones Gordon, 47, of Columbia, passed Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at Maury Regional Hospital.
She was a member of New Harvest Family Church under the leadership of Elder Carl McCullen.
She was preceded in death by her father Lucious P. Jones Sr; her mother Jane Barner Jones and brother Tommy L. Jones.
She is survived by her husband Willie H. Gordon; children Tisa (Quinton Secrest) Jones, Kelvin T. (Lalbyia Burkeen) Frierson and Marcus Z. Jones; step-children Willie Baugh, Kelly Andrews and Paige Andrews; 11 grandchildren, sisters Jane E. Amos, Valerie Jones, Iris (Samuel) Holt and Willie L. Amos; brothers Lucious P. Jones Jr, Early Jones, Timothy Jones and Darnell Jones; mother-in-law Dorothy Armstrong and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The body will lie in-state Friday from noon-8 pm at Roundtree, Napier & Ogilvie's Columbia Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted Saturday at 1 pm at New Harvest Family Church with Elder Carl McCullen officiating.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
