Mrs. Sandra Pauline Lockridge Sanford, 60, of Columbia, died Sunday, September 6, 2009, at Cen-tennial Medical Center in Nashville. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, September 12, 2009, from 12:00 till 1:00 at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church with services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Church with Rev. Kenny L. Anderson, Sr. eulogist. The body will lie in-state Friday from 11:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m. at V.K. Ryan & Son Funeral Home. Burial is in Pinecrest Memorial Gar-dens. V.K. Ryan & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. A native of Maury Coun-ty she was the daughter of the late Ellis Lockridge and Catherine Estes Stewart. She was a 1967 graduate of Carver-Smith High School, where she was a member of the choir, marching band and a majorette, as well as other activities. At an early age she became a member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and later united with Burns Spring Church of Christ. She was employed with the Maury County Board of Education Transportation Department for 28 years until her retirement. Survivors include her hus-band Robert Dale Sanford, her son, Timothy Terrell Goff of Gallatin, Tenn.; two daugh-ters, Cheryl Annette (Freddy ) Joyce and Christie Celeste Williams both of Columbia, Tenn.; three granddaugh-ters, Brooke Charis Joyce, Haley Christine and Ariana
