Mrs. Anna Pearl Jones Greene, 76, of Columbia, died Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, April 21, 2012, from noon - 1 pm at Faith United Baptist Church with services to follow at 1 pm at the church with Elder Gerald Davis as eulogist. The body will lie in-state Friday from 11 am-6 pm at V.K. Ryan & Son Funeral Home.
Burial is in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late William and Tommie Ella Jones. She received her education in the Maury County school system, graduating from Carver-Smith High School in 1954. She was employed by the Kroger Co. for 24 years and was a self-employed cake decorator for 18 years. At an early age, she united with Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and later joined Bethel Church of God, Sanctified.
She was married to Joe Thomas Alderson and later was united in holy matrimony to John Cleamon Greene for 27 years.
Survivors include her daughter Beverly Alderson of Columbia, TN; grandson Atlas Corteay (Shareka Shonta) Curry of Murfreesboro, TN; foster grandson Joshua Adam Holman of Columbia, TN; sisters-in-law Carrie Jones and Ora Make Yokley; devoted cousins Annie Ruth Saunders of VA, Josephine Crouch, Dr. Amy Cato and Eura Patterson of Nashville, TN; devoted friends Doris Easley and Rebecca Duke; special caregiver Mable Baxter; two nephews and other relatives and friends.
