MYREL R. WENTZ
Of Alum Bank RD 1. died Saturday in the Windber Hospital.
He was born Aug. 28, 1899, near Alum Bank, a son of Nicholas G.and Melinda (Mock) Wentz, and married Jennie Young.
Surviving are seven children, Mrs. Forest Leppart, Vernon, Gene and Delmar, all of Alum Bank RD 1, Ivan of Schellsburg RD 1. Mrs. Joe Lohr of New Paris RD, and Mrs. Harry Davis of New Paris, 15 grandchildren, two great - grandchildren and eight brothers and sisters, Harry in Montana, Irvin of Hooversville,Melvin of Manns Choice RD.,Emmons, Sewell and Mrs. Nora Imler of Alum Bank, Mrs. Eva Hoover of Osterburg RD and Mrs. Lorna Botorff of Scalp

He was a member of the Holsinger Church of the Brethren and a retired coal mine worker.
Friends are being received in the Blackburn funeral Home Pleasantville until 10 p.m. today and after 12:30 p.m. tomorrow in the church.
WENTZ -- Services for Myrel M. Wentzof Alum Bank, RD 1, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Holsinger Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Thomas Shoemaker.
Interment in the Mock Cemetery.
Friends will be received in the Blackburg Funeral Home, Pleasantville, until 10 p.m. today and until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and thereafter in the church.
