She married her beloved husband of 49 years, George Yedlicka, where they made a home in St. Louis, Missouri. They spent their years together in Woodbury Heights, NJ and Pittsburg, Missouri. While in Woodbury, Ellen was a dedicated employee of the Woodbury Court House for many years. She then moved to Pennsville, NJ for the remaining 30 years of her life. She was a spirited, courageous and independent woman who never let any obstacle get in her way. She had a passion for painting and crocheting afghans, a blessing for all those who received her handiwork. Ellen loved butterflies, a good game of Yahtzee (as long as you didn't cheat) and was loyal to her Atlanta Braves. She was a member of the Queen of Apostles Church.
She is survived by daughter, Carolyn McComb of Pennsville, two sons, Joseph Yedlicka of Salinas, California, and Richard Yedlicka of Saint Louis, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Thomas "Tim" Steuber, of Kansas City, Kansas. She is predeceased by parents, William J. and Mary Conover Steuber; her husband, George Yedlicka; daughter, Anna Mae Smith; and siblings, Marie, Elizabeth, Catherine, Ann, William, Joseph, John, Peter, Charles, and Robert.
