Robert D. Griffin, Sr., died at Knoxville General Hospital yesterday. He was 67 years old.
He had lived in the Riverdale section of Knoxville and is survived by his wife, two brothers, two daughters and two sons.
His children are Mrs. Charles Fayette, Mrs. David Allman, Robert Griffin Jr., and Park Griffin, all of Knoxville. Sam Griffin of Chattanooga and Andy Griffin of Lenoir City are his surviving brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm tomorrow at the Sand Branch Baptist church with the Rev. Vernon Adcock officiating. Burial will be in the Asbury cemetery.
The body will be removed to the home, Route No. 2, Knoxville, yesterday from Hall and Donahue funeral home.
