Gloria Mae Ruch, 86, of Cerro Gordo, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 in Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL.
Gloria was born June 11, 1927 in Macon Co., Long Creek Twp, Oakley, IL. the daughter of George Earl and Thelma(Barnett) Albert. She married Bobbie Lyle Ruch on August 3,1946 in LaPlace, IL. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Cerro Gordo.
Gloria and Bob enjoyed traveling to see family in CA., Fl., and Wi. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren.
Gloria is survived by her six children: Sharon Straza of Decatur, IL; Gary (Joyce) Ruch of Cisco, IL; Rodney Ruch of Cerro Gordo, IL; Stephen (Kay) Ruch of Benton, AR; Bret (Carolyn)Ruch of New London, WI; Bart Ruch of Oshkosh, WI. Brothers: Adrain Albert and wife Lorraine, Oakley, IL; George Albert and wife Linda of Cerro Gordo. Carrol Albert of Oakley. Sisters: Eleanor (Harold) Nickey of Long Creek; Betty Turner of Topeka, KS; Beverly (Richard) Seitz of Cerro Gordo; Sandy Brandenburg of Cerro Gordo. Also surviving are five granddaughters and four great-grand daughters, and one great grandson.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Bob, parents, three brothers, and one granddaughter.

A graveside service to celebrate Gloria's life will be 10 A.M. Monday, March 17, 2014 at Cerro Gordo Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lions Club of Cerro Gordo.
