Mrs. Opal Ree "Marie" Wilson was born to the late Charlie and Bonnie Simmons Porter and spent most of her life in Rusk County. She retired as a bank officer in Santa Barbara, CA before moving back to Mt. Enterprise where she was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Enterprise.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wilson; brothers, C.B. Porter, Elmo Porter, JaRas Porter, Boot Porter, and Henry Vaughn Porter; and sisters, Zudora Deaton and Daphne Turner.
