J. Ross Dallas, 81, of Floral Avenue, passed at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Community Hospital.

He was born to William and Charlotte (Hutchinson) Dallas.

Mr. Dallas was a former teacher at schools in Champaign and Clark Counties and later operated the College Crafter Company until his retirement. He was a member of the Northminster United Presbyterian church, Harmony Lodge Number 8 F. and A.M., Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and was a graduate of Wittenberg College.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; a daughter, Mrs. Fredric (Charlotte) Bonsack of Jacksonville, Florida; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

His body was taken to the Jackson, Lytle and Coffman Funeral Home for visitation 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Services will be held there at 10 a.m. Saturday in charge of the Reverend Franklin Sparks.

Burial will be in the Greenfield, Ohio, Cemetery.
