BOSSIER CITY LA- Services for Arthur Llewellyn Chandler "Lou" Sr., 84, will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel with Fr. Charles Glorioso and Rev. Billy Pierce officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home.

Lou was born on October 28, 1929, in Belzoni, Mississippi and passed away in Bossier City Louisiana on March 4, 2014. He was preceded by his first wife of 40 years, Betty Chandler and his second wife of 20 years, Shirley Pittman Chandler. He leaves behind his six children, Dottie Prock and husband Ken, Diane Chandler Moore, Lou Chandler Jr. and wife Vickie, Bubba Chandler and wife Bernadette, Tommy Chandler and wife Paula, Red Chandler and wife Barri ; 3 step-children, Cyndee Fortenberry and husband Bennie, Bill Pittman and wife Wendy, Leann Thomas and husband Jay; 26 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Serving Lou as pallbearers will be, Steve Chandler, TJ Chandler, Bailon Moore, Colby Chandler, Chase Chandler and Brent Burnham. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Carlise and Bill Harris. Memorials may be made in honor of Lou to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway 14th Floor, New York City, NY 10004, 1-800-533-2873.
