Dorothy married Marshall Tuttle on July 12, 1971, and together they had three children, Barry, Rebecca, and Rhonda. She worked at Lucia in Winston Salem for 40 years. She was a member of the Lake Church in White Lake, NC.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life, her husband Marshall, two brothers Willis and Paul Knight, two sisters Libby Phelps and Linda Everhart, and two daughters, Rhonda Daniels, and Lisa Widener. She is survived by one daughter Rebecca Bullins, one son Barry Tuttle (Sharon), one sister Elsie Yarbrough (Charlie), five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind several special friends and neighbors and one special nurse, Marriette.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Lake Church in White Lake. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Dorothy will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Walkertown, NC.
