Mrs. O'Neill Died At Her Home In McKeesport
Mrs. Barbara O'Neill died Saturday at her home in McKeesport. Mrs. O'Neill was in her 75th year and had been in failing health for many months past. She was the widow of Michael O'Neill who operated Cumberland's first meat packing house where the Janevy building now stands on South Centre Street. Mr. O'Neill died in this city about forty years ago. He was a brother of Dennis and Patrick O'Neill, both of whom are now dead and of Misses Ella and Mary Ann O'Neill, who reside on South Centre Street. About ten years ago, after the death of her husband, Mrs. Barbara O'Neill moved with her family to McKeesport and they have resided there ever since. She is survived by two sons and three daughters. The body will be brought to this city tomorrow on B & O Train No. 6 arriving at 12:40. The funeral will take place immediately after the arrival of the train with services at St. Patrick's church and interment will be in St. Patrick's cemetery. (Courtesy of Pat Dailey)
