Donald Woodrow Bryant, 73, died on Friday March 18, 2011 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born in Columbia County to the late Woodrow and Avie Mae Wheeler Bryant. He was a colorful character that loved to hunt, fish, and chase women. He was preceded in death by his brother, Broward Bryant; and his sisters, Bonnie Dortch and Eula Battle. He is survived by his daughters; Rebecca Mangrum of Brooksport, Illinois, Neva Mae(Ted) Skaggs and Donna Lynn (Bo) Cothran; a brother, Bruce R. Bryant; sisters, Glenda Cordell and Anna Puttere all of Lake City, Florida; 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside funeral services were conducted on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 4:00 pm in Memorial Cemetery.
