EDMOND SPENARD,
RETIRED FIREMAN,
DIES IN HOSPITAL

Lieutenant Served At Pumper 4 Until Leaving Service; Funeral Wednesday

Edmond G, Spenard, retired lientenant in the Troy Fire Department, died yesterday after a long Illness at the New England Baptist Hospital, Boston.

He had served in the department at pumper 4 until his retirement two years ago. At one time he was an officer in the Uniformed Firemen's Association and was a member of St. Jean Baptists Church.

He is survived by a son Paul W Spenard, a member of the Troy Police Department, two daughters, Mrs. Emmett Snay and Mrs. Stanley Kazielski, all of Troy, and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be held from the Morris Funeral Home, 2874 Fifth Avenue, Wednesdey at 9 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m., at St. Jeans' Church where a requiem mass will be sung. Interment will be in St. Jean's Cemetery.
