Mr. Kenneth Womack, age 57, of Kingston, GA, died Monday, May 30, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Womack was born in Rome, GA, on January 25, 1954, the son of the late Sorrells Womack and Betty Cagle Womack. Mr. Womack was a graduate of East Rome High School. He had been associated with Flowers Baking and prior to ill health had worked in commercial sales at Lowe's. Mr. Womack was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Belinda Thompson Womack; son, Leif Womack, Rome, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Mike Wall of Dallas, GA; five grandchildren,; brother, Gary Womack of Rome, GA; sisters, Diane Womack and Betty Sue Robinson both of Rome, GA; special mother-in-law, Ruby Narmore and a special young man and family friend Austin Price. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the Miller & Richards Funeral Home with Rev. Rondie Goode officiating. Interment will follow in the Rome Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel. At other hours the family may be contacted at the residence, 734 Ward Mountain Road, Kingston, GA.
The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers and are requested to meet in the Heritage Chapel by 12:30 P.M. Thursday: Ricky Robinson, Chad Womack, DeWayne Womack, Mike Ingle, Barry Smith, Tony Spradlin, Robert Blackman and Robert Clay. Honorary pallbearers include Austin Price, Myron Washington, Marquis Turner, Aaron Kirksey, Bo Tucker, Ben Burge and Colin Rogers.
