Freddie Lynch
August 26, 1943 - March 4, 2014

Freddie Lynch, 70, of Aubrey went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 4, 2014. He was surrounded by his family as he peacefully left this world.

He was born on August 26,1943 to Fred and Ila Carter Lynch. He was a graduate of Denton High School. He was an active member and Deacon at Gateway Baptist Church.

He married Jenett Robinson Lynch on March 6, 1964. They shared 49 years of marriage, and would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 6.

He was self employed. He worked as a custom harvester for over 55 years. He also worked as a carpenter. He was a jack of all trades. He retired in 2012. He loved his Lord. He loved his family. He enjoyed going to classic car shows. He enjoyed spending mornings with his friends over coffee at the Green Valley Pit Stop. He also enjoyed Friday morning get togethers with friends at the Jack n Box on loop 288. He looked forward to his trip to Laredo every February to hunt for arrow heads.

He is survived by his wife, Jenett Lynch of Aubrey; two daughters, Angie Martinez of Aubrey and Julie Stottlemyre and her husband, Dickey of Aubrey; three grandboys, as he liked to call them, Kyle Martinez, Josh Martinez, and Peyton Stottlemyre all of Aubrey. He is also survived by his mother, Ila Axtell of Denton; his mother in law, Ola Robinson of Denton; one brother, Mark Lynch of Aubrey, and one sister, Carolyn Cantrell of Denton.

He is preceded in death by his father Fred Lynch.

The family will be at Gateway Baptist Church, 2401 N. Bell Ave., Denton to receive visitors on Thursday, March 6 from 6 to 8 PM. Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, March 7 at Gateway Baptist Church with Brother Buddy Owens officiating. Arrangements will be handled by Mulkey-Mason Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Green Valley Cemetery in Aubrey.

In lieu of flowers or plants, the family would like to request that donations be made to a charity of your choice. We are truly blessed to have been able to call him husband, Dad, Papa, and friend. The family would like to thank Holly Morgan, Freddie's hospice nurse, for all her help, care, and concern. We greatly appreciate all the prayers, calls, and cards from family and friends.
