Muriel "Molly" Turner passed away on February 5, 2014, her 94th birthday.

Molly was born on February 5, 1920 in London, England to Archibald Alexander Hurrell and Ethel Amelia (Bayliss) Hurrell. Molly was married on June 13, 1942 to Flight Lieutenant Charles Laurence Turner (Laurie). Laurie's service with the Royal Air Force brought the couple to Falcon Field in Mesa, AZ, during World War II. In 1946, after Laurie was discharged, they returned to the United States to make their home in Mesa. Molly worked in the Mesa Public Schools for 35 years as Administrative Secretary. She was a member of the Mesa Junior Woman's Club for 11 years, serving as president from 1956 to 1957.

Molly was preceded in death by husband, Laurie in 1966 and sister, Margaret Hurrell in 2009.

Molly spent her final years with sons, John (Mary) and Charles (Barbara); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A classy lady and loved by all, Molly will have a special place in our hearts always.

The memorial service to celebrate Molly's life will be Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Barnabas on the Desert, 6715 N Mockingbird Lane, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
